Both of the stories named here could almost have been part of the actual Buffy canon. “If You Could See Me Now” changed only a few details in one of the most famous scenes in the entire series, and spun a fascinating and haunting narrative from it; “A Truth Worse Than Lies” is eerily convincing, and would explain quite a bit if the series hadn’t invalidated it  with later developments. Both are well worth inspection.
