Kris Walberg

This is an author of astonishing insight and sensitivity. The “Transformations” series is shatteringly good writing (although in my opinion each part of it takes far too long to get to the point), but I refrain from posting a link at this time because it’s unfinished. Several other — and briefer — stories use the same setting and characters, and Walberg is the only author I’ve thus encountered who can actually make me want to know more about the Watchers. The tales I list here deal primarily with Wesley Wyndham-Pryce and one of the most striking original characters in all of Buffyfic (“Watchers” is my own favorite). I recommend that you read them in the order I’ve set them down, which mirrors the way Walberg listed them, and then pelt the author with demands that the “Transformations” series be brought to a speedy conclusion. Such a massive, detailed, and compelling work deserves completion.
