SunS lists all stories alphabetically, but I feel that the things I’ve written are better understood if read in a particular order, so I’m providing my own organization. Furthermore, I have two basic categories: the Backstage Series, stories linked directly to canon and to each other, to present a reality internally consistent with the Buffyverse; and the Independent Stories, those I turned out for fun and interest, but standing alone without reference either to their Backstage brethren or to each other. (Also, a new section at the end for drabbles.)

Thanks. Enjoy.

the Backstage Series

Point of Focus
Anya makes another try at retrieving her amulet, again with unexpected results.

Come to My Window
Some relationships are unconventional … and some go a step beyond.

All Ye Who Enter
A quiet evening at home … yeah, that always works out.

Shadow and Substance
In beautiful Sunnydale, death isn’t always the end. Sometimes, it just starts a whole new program. [Follow-up to “Come to My Window”.]

Twilight’s Last Gleaming
Almost twenty years before the Slayer’s arrival, two Sunnydale residents fight their own battle against the darkness.

Morning’s Echo
And now we know the rest of the story …

Solitaire Till Dawn
What do you do when you’re trapped in a nightmare beyond your imagining?

In Ev’ry Angle GreetHalo Award winner!
Someone has woven a tangled web indeed, and now the threads are unraveling.

Hell Hath No Fury
If the road to perdition is paved with good intentions, then what about the road out?

None So Blind (previously titled “To the Naked Eye”)
Everyone has secrets … but sometimes even those keeping them don’t know what they are. [Follow-up to “Shadow and Substance”.]

Whisper of a Moment
Kerouac never said anything about this …

Than Meets the Eye
An unexpected farewell. An unplanned beginning. Life — and death — on the mean streets of Sunnydale. [This story will be enhanced if you’ve read “Come to My Window” first, and probably “Shadow and Substance” as well.]

Notes on an Opera Program
Sometimes you can’t see the trees for the forest …

Tip of My Tongue
Is the proper term “absent father” … or “missing in action”? [Some elements of this story will be clearer if you’ve first read “Morning’s Echo”.]

Each Proud Division
Quadruple your fun, and then try to sort it out …

the Human Touch
You really can’t judge a book by its cover.

Ex Post Facto
Hindsight is supposed to be 20/20. Doesn’t always work out that way.

the Still, Small Voice
There’s a lot to be learned from the sins of the father.

Phase Shift
One dies, the next is called. Sound familiar? [This story takes place in the alternate reality first shown in “In Ev’ry Angle Greet”.]

Dusk Over Pompeii
Some battles can’t be won. Some can’t even be fought.

Glass Ceiling
Forgotten … but not exactly gone.

Rorschach
Who knows what darkness lurks in the hearts of men? The survey knows …

Beg to Differ
Some relationships are unconventional … and some are freaking dynamite.

First Do No Harm
You may not get what you pay for … but you always pay for what you get.

Yet to Be Seen
There’s ‘unremarked’, and then there’s ‘unremarkable’. Not the same.

Learning Curve
Experience really is the best teacher … but occasionally something quicker is needed.

Independent Stories

Voices in the Dark
Multiple-viewpoint introspection, with a surprise or two.

Critical Review
What if your life made a mark on the world … and the world still didn’t notice?

Perish the Thought
The bitter end can be bitter indeed …

Seeking the Woman
When fate grants a new life, it opens the possibility of a new death.

Drabbles

I had encountered drabbles before, but never considered writing one; though I appreciated the demands of the form, I felt no temptation to explore it myself. While at WriterCon 1 (Las Vegas, 2004), however, I was required to compose a drabble within twenty minutes during a workshop on same. Thus, “Memory”. Others continue to appear, now and again, now that the ice has been broken.

Memory
Wesley. Chocolate.

Adversary
Faith. The First.

Soulless
Spike. 9/11.

Parting Shot
Ethan Rayne. Literary allusion.

Quatrain (four linked drabbles)
Buffy. Resurrection.
